In Adobe Captivate Prime the User Interface is intuitive for all roles including authors, managers, administrators, and learners. Course content is developed as modules which enables rapid assembly of modules to form courses and subsequent assembly of courses to form a learning plan.
Migrating from legacy LMS to Captivate Prime
The LMS market churns by about 25% every year, and being a new, modern, feature-rich, attractive cloud-hosted LMS from a globally trusted solution provider, Adobe Captivate Prime has a great market opportunity to attract LMS customers from their existing learning management solutions; we made it easy for customers to migrate their existing data and systems to Adobe Captivate Prime.
In particular, we already have a significant number of customers who use Adobe Connect LMS who may want to use Prime for their LMS needs and continue with Connect for their synchronous eLearning initiatives.
With the advent of cloud computing solutions, enterprises are always looking to move their existing enterprise IT applications to a cloud model, so that they can reduce their fixed costs and adopt an on-demand and elastic model. A major deterrent is often the cost (time and money) of switching to the new model and the skills required to a transition riddled with non-trivial complexity, even as they continue to run their existing business. So it becomes important for a challenger to go that extra mile to assure customers that a smooth migration from the incumbent solution can be accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
In the first version, we focused on delivering the minimum set of tools required, and we believe that these tools will primarily be used by adobe's partners (VARs); and not directly by Prime customers.

Enterprises have other applications and systems which may need to be integrated with Captivate Prime. Connectors are utilities that help in performing data based integrations such as importing data into Captivate Prime from external systems, or exporting data to external systems from Captivate Prime.
